What can I do to help my dog?

So about two weeks ago I bought my 2yr. old Maltese K9 Advantix 10.
I applied it that same day. About a couple of days later I started to notice that it wasn't working. Now, two weeks later, my dog and my house is infested. This morning I tried returning the medicine at Petsmart, and they wouldn't accept it. I mean it was pretty expensive and I want my money back to buy my pet a better medicine. What can I do?

Try calling the store manager, if that doesn’t work, write a letter to K9 Advantix and explain the problem. Maybe it is a bad batch. Good luck.

You need to treat your yard, your home & the dog. If you treat the dog & then let him back out where there is an infestation he will continue to get ticks.
When you treat your yard & home do it every two weeks for 6 to 8 weeks. You want to kill all phases of the tick cycle & they reproduce on a two week basis. So to make sure you have killed every cycle of the ticks life you treat every two weeks. You treat the dog once a month & the yard every two weeks until you no longer see any ticks.
You probably would do better if you fogged your house instead of spraying or powdering.

The only thing you can really do is focus on helping your dog. You might have a problem with the company, not petsmart.

Both answerer’s are right they said it first, treat the house and then get onto the phone to the manager. If you live near the main manufacturing faciltiy, visit a customer care service there.

Try to contact Advantix, and they should give you a refund, as long as you have the serial number it shouldn’t be a problem.
