He doesn't do it all the time, he was nice to some kids a week ago but the other night my wife and I were passing though a labor day anti-drinking-checkpoint and when I rolled down my window to show the cop my drivers license my dog snarled, showed his teeth, growled and barked unlike I had ever seen before. It was really embarrassing and my wife was holding him and tried holding his mouth shut and he bit her pinky but I don't think it was on purpose. I think he didn't realize it was her trying to hold his mouth shut because he was so caught up in the moment.

- On a completely unrelated side note my wife keeps saying: "Max bit me..... It really hurt......and it's still hurting." (just like the "charlie bit me" video on youtube) Ha ha.

there is this show on animal planet called its me or the dog you should check it out i think it would be very helpful in your situation to help your dog stop barking!!!!

i’ve been watching the show called “It’s me or the dog”
and they way she said is when you walking toward people and your dog starts barking you immediatly walk the oppisite direction for about 5 steps then turn around again.
and repeat this untill he stops barking.
you might want to try this exercise with a person you know.

Look up ceaser milan the dog whisperer, he is awesome! Dogs are pack animals, they need to know your the boss(yes little dogs are the worse for this lol) sounds like your little guy thinks he owns you.
