well im not shure about this but it worked for my grand ma when shen had a tick problem she purred hot water on taples and she dissasembled the beds and if there were ticks there she added some hot water to to you know burn and drown them out and for the cloths dip in hot water electronic stuff well you might have to throw out if ticks have nested there

sounds like they are multiplying in some tall grass nearby, the preferred breeding ground of ticks. Clear any nearby tall grasses and keep your K9 friend out of anything tall where the critters can get on his/her fur. Try frontline too, as that seems to be a bit better than K9 advantix. Try spraying some insecticide (something permetrin based works well) in the garden areas of your yard too.

I live in Arkansas and we have this same problem ugh,
The only thing I have found to be fool proof is
7 dust and LOTS OF IT! they come in bags and you spread it just like you would fertilizer its amazing stuff, we bathe our fur baby weekly (kinda tough i know) but we keep the ticks and fleas away it also helps with all kinds of other bugs too

    Hope this helped!
