Do you think that people who take noisy,barking dogs out in public are anti-social?

I personally **** it when someone walks past me in the street with a dog that starts barking and scares the crap out of me!!! I find it extremely rude when their owners don't even apologize. Just the other day, an Alsatian was barking its head off right in front of a shop as I was about to go in. I got a massive fright and jumped as walked throuht he door, causing the owner to remark "Never heard a dog bark before,eh?". Do you agree with me or should I be more accepting of our canine "friends"?

Not necessarily anti-social, but certainly rude.
My next door neighbors have a yappy small dog that is retarded. They put it outside and it just barks incessantly, never shuts up. We all have to put up with rude buffoons unfortunately.

Be accepting. We have a darling dog, Lucille, a cross between a sheltie and a papillon, who we picked up from the Blue Cross, she was a stray and we don’t know her background. She was awful when we first got her, would bark at everyone walking past us in the street. we have now got her to ignore most people, but she still barks if someone is running or on a bike. She has given a few people a fright but i always apologise as i know it must be horrible for people. Sometimes it can be their background and they are untrusting of strangers.
Lucille loves us so much and when she knows you, she showers you with affection, resting her head on your lap and looking at you with adoring eyes.

I personally fear the dog not because of its appearance but because of the bark. If you think they should apologize let them know! And no I do not think they are anti-socal. Every dog needs a walk!
