It’s good that your dog is still young. The older they get the harder it is to socialize them (and yes it is an important step). I suggest a puppy training class to get her used to other dogs. I would start with one dog and let her get comfortable over time with one and then take her to more.

You can’t force dogs to get along.. You can slowly get them used to being around other dogs, help them get over their lack of socialization, and their fears. But you can’t force it.. you’ll make it worse.

I can’t give you any advice on this one. My dog Rockie is the biggest Anti-social dog out there. He was born that way and I am being serious. We got him when he was 6 weeks old he weighed a whopping 1 1/2 pounds. He is a chihuahua. We had a toy miniature pinscher at the time we got him that weighed 7 pounds. We we got Rockie in the car he actually started growling and trying to go after Hercules. We thought it was funny at the time but like you it has become quite old. He got used to Hercules and when Hercules passed away last summer we got Bandit (another Chihuahua) at first he didn’t like him but they are best buds now. But if any other dog, cat, bird, fish, animal comes by him except Bandit he goes crazy and thinks he is part Cujo or something. Now I just make sure that he stays on his leash ( he actually bit a friends pit bull and the poor thing had to get stitches) and away from any other animals. I tried all of the socializing things that everyone else is going to tell you but Rockie is not having it. Ps Rockie is the black one and the brown one is Bandit

The first thing that you need to do is socialize her, don’t let her walk on the floor at the pet store, but take her in your arms a couple times a week to visit petsmart or petco and get her used to being around other pets. After you do that for awhile slowly introduce her to friends dogs that you know are not aggressive but if she is ********** (scared) then keep her and the other dog on the leash and kind of intro them back to back instead of face to face, when dogs look into eachothers eyes sometimes that instigates a challenge. Plus when her and the other dogs have a peaceful visit reward her with love and treats!!! Good Luck!

call your vet & i am sure they will point you twords some excellent dog schools. vets are awesome with behavior issues.
