We also have another housedog that goes outside for about the same time periods, and the frontline does a great job keeping him flea free. I am thinking of trying either revolution or K9 Advantix. We tried the Advantage years ago on other dog, and it didn't work at all. Help please!

my dog was so itchy and miserable all last summer but got all better when winter hit and i stopped using frontline. then this march i started him back up on a different flea med (K9 Advantix) and he's itching again. just wondering if it could be the medication itself and if anyones had the same problem.

My husband and I have a little **** tsu/Pekapoo mixed female dog that is less than two years old. On Tuesday evening, I adminstered on her for the first time the product "K9 Advantix" for fleas. I put this on her around 8 pm. During that same night around 3 am, she and other dog woke me up like they normally to do to be let out to go to the bathroom. When I let both of them out, I thought they both went. We keep "Cinder" in her crate at night, but she had continued fussing and whining till I let her back out again. She just went into the yard and sat then laid down in the cold grass. For the rest of the day Wednesday, after my before and after my husband and I got home from work, she continued whimpering and fussing and reaching for her hind end off and on. We called the vet, and since we live over 30 minutes away, they told us to bathe her in Dawn dish soap, adminster Benydryl every 8 hours, and also a tablet of Prednisone for 2-3 days, that we had from our other dog.
After following these steps through the Thanksgiving holiday, she has not improved at all. She has not had a bowel movement, and is not eating or drinking. Up till now, she has been current on all her shots, and has been checked by the vet to be a healthy dog. We fear there is something more serious going on now instead of an allergic reaction to the K9. Are there any vets here that might be able to give me some ideas what the problem may be till we get her to our vet tomorrow? We are so worried about her. We would like to hear some suggestions from knowledgable people only who won't be scaring us with nonsense or just guesses.

SHE IS AT THE VET GETTING SPAYED AND THEY ARE LOOKING AT THE SPOTS. I just wanted to see if anyone had an idea of what it was.
We boarded her while we were on vacation because we didn't have anyone to take care of her while we are out of state.
SHE HAD SUPERFICIAL PYODERMA DUE TO STRESS.

She barks at everything, ppl passing by at kids if they walk near our house, and also she started barking at night, but thats more triggered by a neighbors dog that wont shut up at night, well it gets her all worked up. My other dog does bark when she hears the dog but quickly gets quite when I tell her to stop. But my dog Lucy wont stop, I have spent a lot of money on anti-bark collars but it seems as if she doesnt mind the collar I know the collars work, but I guess she doesnt feel the static shock or she just got used to it. Please help me shut my dog up.

Small dogs often get to do what ever they want.

1. Yapping. Owners will stick small dogs in their back yard; and the small dog will yap-yap-yap for 24 hours. Large dog owners train their dogs and I hardly ever see a large dog yapping or barking. Don't they make the anti-barking shock for small dogs?
2. Leshes. Small dogs get to run around free a lot. When I approach the owners asking them to keep their small dog on a leash, I get the dirty look, and sometimes "He/She's harmless". I've never got that behavior from a large dog owner. Even though it's a small dog, it's still annoying to have it jump on me, or chew up my flowers.
3. ****. All dog owners should pick up their animals ****. It's good health. Dog's love to sniff other dog's ****. Even with regular shoots and visits to the vet., **** holds doggy colds. Anyways, I typically see owners of small dogs ignoring the poop, an a typical large dog owner is scooping.
